This Weekend

Nothing really happened in the news this week nor did I hear of anything crazy that happened, so I'm just going to talk about my weekend and the upcoming week/weekend. To start off the weekend I think (I honestly don't remember) I went out Thursday night, didn't drink, but came back only to find that my roommate and a guy down our hall that we are living with next year are in a huge fight. They actually ended up throwing fists and me and my friend had to break it up. They eventually talked it out and now they're good. Friday, I did go out and drink, however. I went to this party with my friend, which consisted mainly of his fraternity, which was pretty fun. I found out that if I pledged, I would automatically get a bid because my Dad was in the same fraternity at his school. I'm what they call a legacy, which is a pretty sweet ass title if you ask me. The next day I woke up and went to my friends apartment to grill out and drink, but only a little I promise. That was pretty fun. I got back to my dorm and just played tipsy video games all night, living the dream. Sunday however, I punished myself for not doing anything productive all weekend by getting up and going to church at 8:00. I also had a soda for the first time since I gave it up for lent, not that appealing anymore but I at least have a chaser now (probably not good if that's the first thing I turn to.) The first part of this week is going to be a pain in my ass, because I have a lot of work to do along with a big test on Tuesday and Wednesday. But after that is Friday, which is going to be awesome. Relay for Life and the protest are going to be that day and I am doing both. I can not wait for Friday. Also, in all seriousness, is it in bad taste if I drink before a cancer fundraiser as long as I plan to stay out for all 24 hours of it?
